Bills Too High? Chop Them Down With BillCutterz

In the past I have written about the strategy of lowering your bills by negotiating lower prices on goods and services. While I think this is a great way to save a lot of money, I realize that some people just aren’t interested in haggling. The idea of arguing with customer service reps doesn’t appeal to them. They don’t want to overpay, but listening to an endless loop of Muzak while they wait to talk to a human being is torture.

Enter, a budget shrinking service that will haggle down your bills for you. The process is simple. You click on over to their site, choose the bills you are looking to lower, and enter the corresponding information. BillCutterz contacts these companies and works with them to lower your bill. They split the savings with you 50/50.

For example, if they manage to save you 60 dollars on your cable bill, you keep 30 they get 30. If they can’t save you anything, you don’t pay anything. The whole process takes minutes and the possible savings are substantial. Even knocking 35 dollars off your monthly bills is a 420 dollar a year savings. That’s a free laptop.

The site boasts an “A” rating from the Better Business Bureau and the handful of reviews I found were positive. Since I am always searching for the best prices and haggle on my own behalf, I don’t think I am a very good candidate. I am trying to find someone to test drive the service and will report back with their results in the future.

If you find yourself struggling to pay your monthly bills or you feel that you are paying too much, you might want to consider

BillCutterz is great! My savings expert was Veronica and she got me $22 each month for a whole year on just my cable bill. I also got a free month with Verizon. BillCutterz got me big savings for very little effort, I spent maybe five minutes with Veronica for all this extra money.
